Flawed Brilliance

So...remember about two weeks ago, when I said I had multiple posts pre-made and all set to post in times I couldn't blog? Well, my method has quite clearly failed. When I tried posting one of those pre-set posts, it ended up under the post I had created it before, rather than right at the top as a shiny new post. Such a fail.

Clearly, blogging is not something at the top of my priority list, even though it should be! I've been so much more focussed on other goals these past two weeks though...I blame my AP Psych teacher for having us design a schedule which allowed for time to work towards achieving our goals. One of my goals was to get all school work done in a timely manner to avoid late night panic...I was immensly confused as to why I had to block out extra time in addition to homework to achieve this. It seemed rather silly. But, so far I HAVE managed to achieve that goal! Another main goal of mine was to land a speaking role in the fall musical, which I am also very pleased to have accomplished! But then I haven't had time to blog...

Maintaining a blog is hard work! There are so many things I could talk about, and just not enough time! That's the issue with this world: too much to do, too little time. Sometimes I wish I had a time turner, like in Harry Potter, so I could go back in time and get everything done that I needed. I wonder if you'd become extra tired by adding hours to your day....and could you get more sleep by going back in time? Would that work? Oh the possibilities!

So far, this year looks like it's going to be pretty great. French 4 with Madame Binczewski is so much fun, especially with some of the crazy people in my class. Pre-calc regular is a joke with our Romanian teacher, Mrs. Smith. I was so excited when I discovered how incredibly easy the class is going to be. Physics with Mrs. Babcock is great, because we get to play with hotwheels. Nuff said. Drama is amazing, as always...o how I love Mrs. Hobson and our enitre class of insanity (yes, we as people are insanity personified)! AP Psych I'm iffy about, because although the class is very interesting, I'm not entirely sure Mrs. Card and I are the best personality match, but we'll see. AP Lang with Mrs. Eaton is absolutely wonderful, and I can't even begin to describe how phenomenal that woman is! APUSH with Mr. Evans (my only male teacher!) is going to be fun, even though we'll probably learn more about his life history than U.S. history in the class. The theatre productions are of course going to be the best part, because, well....they're drama productions! Plus I have a speaking role! Auditions involved learning two dance combinations, performing cold readings (which is when you read from the script with no previous preparation), and a vocal session. As there were an insane number of ridiculously talented seniors auditioning (not to mention the total group of auditioners was around 70 or 80 people), I feel very lucky to have gotten a speaking role!

On a completely different train of thought, my log in on my computer spazzed on me at the beginning of last week and now won't load any of my data. Fortunatley, I seem to be able to retrieve my files through an administrator account, but it's still rather frustrating to have to go through so many extra steps to get all my data on my new profile. It's quite a pain, because my account is clearly beyond repair...

Anyways, I must now go and transfer all my photos from my old account to my new one! I'll try to update more often, because a two-week time gap is rather ridiculous, and I apologize for my inconsistency. But I'm awesome!
